Find the failed component
A shutter that will not rise may have a broken strap, jammed slat, axle problem or motor fault. Inspecting the mechanism avoids guessing.
Typical work
Many components can be replaced without changing the entire shutter.
- Straps and winders
- Motors and switches
- Damaged slats
- Stuck or uneven shutters
Safe operation
Large shutters are heavy. A failing mechanism should not be forced, particularly if the shutter is dropping unevenly.
