Getting frames and glass to the property
Send the address when arranging a visit. If a gate, exterior steps or a lower terrace would affect how a large frame or glazed panel reaches the opening, mention it and add a wide photograph of the route; otherwise the address is enough.

Show the complete opening
A close photograph of a handle or damaged part is useful, but it does not show how the complete window or door meets the surrounding wall, floor or terrace.
Send one wider image showing the whole opening, with the floor on both sides of the threshold and the wall or render around it. The floor finish matters because the threshold has to meet it correctly on both sides; the wall finish decides how the new frame is fixed and sealed. A second photograph from further inside the room shows how the door is used. Danny confirms measurements at the visit.
Large openings and exposure
The replacement-window service includes aluminium and PVC frames, with the glass chosen separately for heat, glare, safety or solar control.
Sun, glare and wind can differ between elevations of the same property. External shade, the size of the glazed area and the way the room is ventilated also matter when choosing the glass. One specification should not be assumed to suit every opening.
Panel size and glass weight affect how easily a large sliding or patio door moves. The track, locking and threshold have to suit the complete door. Glass curtains, persianas and mosquito screens also need enough clearance to operate without obstructing it.
Specify each elevation separately
Where a broad glazed opening faces strong sun, solar-control glass can be considered for that opening, while another room in the same property may place greater importance on noise, safety or thermal insulation.
The glass, frame and hardware must work as one complete system. The quotation should identify these elements for each part of the proposed work rather than describing every opening simply as double glazed; see what a window quotation should include.
Visible changes
Frame colour, glazing and terrace enclosures may be visible from other properties or shared areas. Owners are responsible for checking community requirements before placing an order.
Repairs in Cumbre del Sol
Existing windows and doors can be inspected when they no longer close or move correctly. A persiana fault may also be repairable where the main system remains usable.

A movement or locking fault on a large door may be repairable. The inspection can include the rollers, track, lock and panel alignment while also checking the condition of the frame and glass. Replacement becomes more relevant when the frame is damaged, suitable parts cannot be obtained or the owner wants a different layout. A short video helps show where movement changes; it does not confirm repairability.
