Solar-control glass in Jávea homes

Reduce solar heat entering through exposed glazing without treating every window the same.

Where it can help

Large east, south and west-facing glazed areas can admit substantial heat. A solar-control coating reduces the amount of solar energy passing through the glass while still allowing daylight into the room.

Balance heat and daylight

Different coatings alter light transmission and appearance. The strongest control is not automatically the most comfortable result.

  • Size of the glazed area
  • Glass colour and reflectance
  • Insulation and safety requirements

Part of a wider approach

External shading, persianas and ventilation remain relevant even when the glass is upgraded.
