Windows and glazing
The replacement-window service includes aluminium and PVC frames. Aluminium works well for larger spans and slimmer frames. PVC is often used where firm closing and insulation are priorities.
The glass is chosen separately. Heat, noise, safety and solar control can require different pane build-ups or coatings.
Sun and coastal exposure affect the choice of glass, finish and hardware where an opening actually faces them. Broad terrace openings in Moraira and El Portet are an example, but each elevation is considered on its own rather than the whole property being treated as exposed.
One property can need more than one specification
The most suitable glass and frame arrangement can change from one opening to another. A broad terrace opening, a shaded window and a bedroom affected by outside noise do not necessarily need the same glass.
Danny checks the room, elevation, opening size and intended use before the specification is finalised. This avoids treating every Moraira window as though it faces the same conditions.

Terrace and entrance doors
Sliding and patio doors provide wide access to a terrace without swinging into the room. Panel size and glass weight affect how easily the door moves.
Replacement doors also include hinged patio doors and entrance doors. Danny checks the frame, threshold, locking and glazing before the new system is ordered.
Access and exterior changes
For an apartment near the centre, provide the floor level and say whether there is a usable lift or shared entrance. Gates, steps or restricted parking should be mentioned when they could affect delivery of larger frames or glazed panels.
Owners are responsible for checking community requirements before changing the visible colour, divisions or style of windows and doors.
Villas, apartments and terrace openings
For a villa, send a complete view of the opening and any adjoining terrace, shutter or mosquito screen that must continue working with it.
For a large opening onto a terrace, the decision is as much about weight and movement as about glass: panel size, glass build-up, track, threshold and rollers are specified together so the door stays easy to move. Where unwanted solar gain is a concern, solar-control glass can be considered for that opening rather than applied automatically throughout the property; see solar-control glass.
For an apartment, include the floor level and shared-access details when they could affect delivery. The owner should also confirm any community requirements relating to visible frame colour, divisions or door style.

Repairs in Moraira
Repair work is available for existing windows and doors. Handles, locks, rollers and alignment faults may be dealt with while a sound frame remains in place.
