Advice · JÁVEA WINDOWS

What a window quotation should include

Enough detail to compare what is being supplied, not only the final price.

Finished aluminium window ready for final inspectionMEASURED ON SITE · MADE FOR THE OPENING

Identify the product

The quotation should name the frame material or system, colour, opening method and glass build-up. ‘Double-glazed window’ leaves too much unanswered.

Identify the work

Removal, disposal, making good, access equipment and finishing should be clear.

  • Frame and glass specification
  • Hardware and security
  • Number and direction of openings
  • Removal and installation
  • Warranty and payment terms

Ask about omissions

If shutters, screens, electrics, stonework or painting are excluded, that should be visible before work starts.
